OpenCV
OpenCV is an AI tool in the Coding & Development category. Useful for computer vision, video analysis, image processing, python, open source.
The open source computer vision library: it reads images and video pixel by pixel and measures what is there, from color histograms that find cuts to optical flow that tracks motion between frames.
A biblioteca aberta de visão computacional: lê imagem e vídeo pixel a pixel e mede o que está lá, do histograma de cor que acha corte ao fluxo que segue o movimento de um quadro pro outro.
AITag Review
In the Sapiens Decoupage Lab you drop a video in and get its ruler: how many shots, how long each one lasts, how much the camera moves. OpenCV is the one watching frame by frame. To find a cut it builds the histogram of each frame, the count of how many pixels there are of each color; if the count changes all at once from one frame to the next, it is a cut. To measure motion it follows every little piece of the image to the next frame: if everything moves together it is the camera, if only one piece moves it is someone moving. On a test video we built from seven pieces of our own films, OpenCV found all six cuts, each one a single frame from the right spot; Gemini also counted six, but one landed more than half a second off.
