Melodytree is a beam search drawn as a tree, and the music decides which branch is best. Every click is a drop falling into the sea: it lights the branches around it and plays a note from the pentatonic scale of the key the track is in, read from a chromagram. With no sound it holds still, and picks up from there when the music comes back. It runs entirely in the browser, with no server and no account, and inside an iframe it turns into a card, the same one that plays inside a post on X. MIT code, static files, no build step.
