Lenis ("smooth" in Latin) doesn't push the page on each wheel tick: it sets a target and eases there, fast at the start and slow at the end. It wraps the browser's own scroll instead of faking one, so sticky headers, anchor links and accessibility keep working. It can step aside on touch devices and when the visitor asks for reduced motion. On the Sapiens homepage, one wheel tick of 100 px glides across 18 frames instead of jumping in one. MIT licensed, installed with npm i lenis.
